Following over a million-pound spent to develop our product line to date and over £1M in venture capital investment, TextureJet seeks an experienced and professional Business Development Executive to continue to develop their customer base and accelerate the transition from start up to high growth.
Position: Business Development Executive (BDE)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000pa DOE + up to £30K annual bonus + car allowance
Hours: Full time
Holidays: Normal remuneration for all bank and public holidays normally observed in England and a further 24 working days holiday pro rata in each holiday year being the period from 1 January to 31 December.

Due to expanding demand, Texture Jet is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their fast-growing team. We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Executive to support customer acquisition concentrating on outbound sales activities. This is an all-encompassing role, working closely with marketing and applications engineers to qualify and nurture leads. This is not a 9 to 5 job and will require enthusiasm and drive to lead the company’s commercial success.
Your role will be to proactively seek out new sales opportunities and generate and follow up sales leads for the companies’ products by identifying and contacting new target customers and projects and highlighting the customers’ needs and pains.
This role revolves around good communication and sales presentation skills coupled with a good understanding of our product range, for which training will be provided. Candidates will be expected to maintain and develop a customer base, interact with prospects via calls, online meetings, on media platforms, attend on-site meetings, trade exhibitions and client events generating enthusiasm for the companies technology.
You will be expected to work as part of the overall commercial team reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and working alongside the application engineers who will provide the technical support and supply solution proposals whilst acting as the voice of the customer to the engineering team. The business development role is seen as the front end to the sales process, but you will be expected to take an active role throughout the sales process and beyond to maintain customer satisfaction.
The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial approach and an appetite to bring in new business. You must have excellent communication skills and a proven track record demonstrating your customer service and sales experience.
The position is office based but will require extensive travel both within the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities:
* Generate leads and proposal opportunities driving outbound sales.
* Create sales proposals in conjunction with the applications engineers and liaise with clients to deliver them the ideal solution for their business.
* Develop outreach strategies through research of high potential prospects.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while expanding your network to generate new leads.
* Be a self-starter with excellent people skills and enthusiasm in abundance.
* Stay up to date with industry trends to spot new opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with the CRO to drive business development.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years documented business development in a B2B setting ideally manufacturing.
* CRM experience.
* UK Right to work.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* UK Driving License.
* Ability and willingness to travel globally especially central Europe, America and Asia.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, and ability to prioritise.
* Ability to deal with demanding high-profile customers.
* Computer literate across office 365 and google equivalents.
