Job summary We are looking for an experienced Research Nurse or Clinical Trials Practitioner (CRP) to join the East of England Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) team based in the Cambridge area You will work in Primary Care and in other out of hospital settings as required to support and champion research across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough region. You will be managing a wide-ranging portfolio of research studies, recruiting participants, receiving informed consent, conducting study procedures and collecting baseline and follow up data in accordance with ICH GCP. You will work from the office and home with regular travel across the Cambridge and Peterborough area and throughout the East of England region as required. You must be an experienced Registered Research Nurse or CRP with excellent organisational and communication skills. Main duties of the job Supporting and promoting involvement in commercial and non-commercial research studies on the NIHR portfolio taking place in Primary Care and out of hospital settings for theEast of England Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN). Key responsibilities include identification of eligible persons, provision of information, informed consent, and ongoing support for participants. Coordination and carrying out study assessments, treatment and follow up, collecting data according to specific clinical trial protocols, ICH Good Clinical Practice, and other relevant legislation.
