Job Description
* Supporting the Purchasing team in daily administrative tasks
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of positive supplier relationships
* Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimal stock numbers
* Ensuring compliance with the company's policies and procurement rules
* Participating in negotiation processes
* Monitoring and updating relevant departments about any changes in delivery schedules
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchasing Assistant should have:
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software
* A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
