Location: Bristol, BS11
Position: SEND Teacher
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30
Salary: £140 - £160 (depending on experience)
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and resilient Teacher to join a school in Bristol. This school provides a unique and inclusive education for primary and secondary-aged students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
More than just qualifications, this school values the right person—someone who understands the students, connects with them, and thrives in their unique school culture. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here! The most successful teachers often come from a variety of backgrounds, such as:
• Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) with experience in SEN or SEMH settings
• Mainstream teachers looking to transition into a more specialist and rewarding role
• Creative professionals (art, drama, or music specialists) with a passion for engaging students in alternative ways
This role isn’t for the faint-hearted! Expect to hear some colourful language and be met with initial resistance—but with patience, understanding, and a sense of humour, you’ll build strong relationships that make this job unlike any other.
If you want to be part of changing lives and think you’re the right fit, please get in touch immediately—we’d love to hear from you!
