Responsibilities:
* As the Lead IT Asset Manager, I will support our Asset Management team to ensure value and compliance across all DWP's software spend. I will manage our Platinum publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM) and take ownership of Flexera to deliver value against a budget of £100m per year. Collaborating with senior stakeholders, I will optimize license usage and ensure the effectiveness of the IT Asset Management system, monitoring processes, performance, and compliance across the entire organization. Additionally, I will have overall responsibility for DWP's IT Asset Management Capability, encompassing People, Process, and Technology. I will manage a small team, promoting knowledge sharing, fostering team dynamics, developing team skills, and identifying relevant resource needs.
