Data Solutions Partner - Asset Management
The successful candidate will play a key role in Data solution design activities on behalf of the Chief Data Office, ensuring that Data is considered as a key enabler at the very heart of any solution designs and operating models created. The Solution Partner leads engagements with and acts as the key point of contact for business customers to support BAU and change initiatives on behalf of Data Solution and CDO.
Principal accountabilities:
1. Work with our customer stakeholders to understand their business goals, challenges, priorities.
2. Work with our Business Change, CDO Team, Technology, and Operations partners to ensure end to end solution design utilises strategic data capabilities in compliance with applicable Data policies.
3. Balance effective design with deployment of strategic / tactical components to suit each scenario.
4. Work with our Data Operations and Market Place teams to ensure designs are scalable, repeatable, sustainable and fully supported in a BAU environment.
5. Deliver and or oversee the delivery of analysis artefacts incl. data user stories, data flows, service descriptions, high level solution designs, data dictionaries, source : target mapping documents.
6. Estimate the time required to design, deliver new data solutions.
7. Develop appropriate data controls as part of user stories.
8. Play an active role in delivering LGIM’s Data strategy, drive adoption of the Market Place and core data capabilities and our strategic operating model while guiding users to solutions that are compliant with Data Management policies and standards.
9. Manage stakeholders effectively, facilitate the right engagement between Real Assets and the rest of the firm, in particular with CDO, Technology, Change, Risk, Product.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills (verbal / written) with a range of stakeholders from Business to Tech.
* Significant asset management Data Analysis / Solution Design experience – preferable within Private Credit.
* Extensive knowledge of Asset Management Data Domains and relationships (e.g. Security and associated entities e.g. Issuers / Account / Product / Client / Trades / Orders / Transactions / Holdings).
* Experience of working with Data Suppliers / Outsourcers.
* Experience of creating Data Source : Target Mappings.
* Experience of creating and presenting Data Solution Designs.
* Experience of creating Data Flows incl Data Domains.
* Experience of UAT on Data Deliverables.
* Understanding of Data Risk and Governance considerations.
