Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
2. Provide expert clinical care for patients with complex mental health issues.
3. Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
4. Participate in the development and implementation of innovative treatment programs.
5. Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
6. Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to academic and research activities.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
2. CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification.
3. Extensive experience in the assessment and management of psychiatric disorders.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
6. Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
