A great team culture is at the heart of theClinical Application Support team. Heavily relied upon to support theefficient operation of clinical applications such as Carenotes, EMIS &IAPTUS and coming soon RiO, to Trust staff.
As our IT Dept evolves, so does the demand onthe team. We are looking for a dynamic & enthusiastic team member to jointhe team that CARES, providing troubleshooting & problem-solving expertisealong with an ability to adapt to the demand of installations, updates, testing& enhancements of our applications.
The role is crucial to the development of the Trust clinicalapplications as we head through a period of change & growth with theintroduction of our new EPR. We want you to join the team who are at the heartof making things happen.
Whilst we can teach you the skills to become a vital member of theteam, you need to bring with you a positive attitude, willingness to learn,great communications, strong interpersonal & analytical skills.
Main duties of the job
A typical day will see you managing & resolving faults thathave been reported by staff & partners. Working with solutions providersto get the best from our clinical applications, managing upgrades &configuration changes.
Providing Trust assurance by ensuring all work undertaken ismanaged via Test/UAT environments, utilising testing plans & change controlboard before transitioning to Live. Working and liaising with fellow ICTDepartment colleagues to pro-actively manage applications & exploreopportunities for improvement.
The ability to pro-actively identify problem trends & knownerrors whilst working towards permanent solutions. The creation of qualitydocumentation, project updates & training guidance is also vital to therole.
Our aim is to make IT accessible and as simple as possible for allTrust staff.
You will be required to work from Kings Court 1,Worcester. The contracted hours are, working Monday to Friday.
