About Our Client
Our client, a leading marketing business based in Waterlooville are expanding, and looking to bring in an Accounts Assistant to assist with the day-to-day finance function.
Job Description
Accounts Assistant:
3. Post Invoice to SAGE, where required post into the Projects system and reconcile
4. Journal invoice to correct month, adding to accruals/prepayment schedule
5. Work with the projects team to identify and post courier costs
6. Expense management: Upload all credit card statements, approve tagged transactions and check against the project management system.
7. Manage finance data exports by thoroughly checking, coding and preparing to import into SAGE
8. Check off statements as they arrive and deal with any queries
9. Ensure final VAT receipts/invoices are gained
10. Allocation of payments against invoices, ensuring ledgers are accurate
11. Assist with research/ sourcing of goods online and general project admin
12. Receive client POs and raise invoices in project management system for the project team where required and SAGE
13. Journal invoice to correct month, adding to accruals/prepayment schedule
14. Allocation of receipts against invoices, ensuring ledgers are accurate
The Successful Applicant
Accounts Assistant:
15. Experience in administration
16. Good level of finance experience (AAT 2+)
17. Good knowledge of general business procedures
18. Attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
19. Good MS Excel skills
20. SAGE CLOUD Experience
21. Organisational and time-management skills
22. Must be fluent in English to a professional, business level
