This is an opportunity to join the Neurophysiology team at Ipswich Hospital and to support our senior secretary in the running of the department.
To ensure an efficient and well-organised administrative and reception service within the Neurophysiology Department to assist in the smooth running of the Department. To function as part of an integrated team within General Medicine, to provide a friendly, efficient and welcoming environment.
There will be opportunities for training and progression in the role.
You will:
1. Liaise with senior secretary to ensure all admin work is being covered.
2. Book and send out clinic appointments as required.
3. Contact patients by phone to arrange appointments.
4. Cancel and re-book appointments as required.
5. Ensure clinics are booked efficiently to maximise capacity.
6. Manage waiting lists.
7. Book from PTL booking lists.
8. Receive and input patient referrals on Prism Computer system.
9. Input patient referrals on Lorenzo Computer system.
Reception duties:
Greeting and checking in patients attending all Neurophysiology investigations.
