Department: InterAction Data Management (three days a week)
Schedule: Flexible working considered, at least one day in the office a week.
Curtis is introducing InterAction to the firm for the first time. The firm has not previously had a CRM, so this is a “greenfields” site in terms of CRM and requires a self-starter.
Summary
The InterAction Data Steward maintains data quality by conforming entered information according to required Firm format and confirmed information; researches and resolves discrepancies; updates, merges and eliminates duplicate contacts; acts as a reference for end users about InterAction; and handles special projects relating to InterAction as needed. Observes confidentiality of Firm matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Verify new entries to database for proper formatting as per firm data standards.
2. Resolve duplicate entries and check for errors.
3. Process returned mail and research mailing addresses.
4. Research and verify company mergers/name changes/office relocations.
5. Update, maintain and document department guidelines, processes and best practices.
6. Maintain mailing lists as well as generate searches and reports for targeted mailings.
7. Provide user support and troubleshooting issues when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
1. Knowledge of InterAction.
2. Data management and data manipulations skills (highly experienced with MS Word, SQL, and Excel).
3. Attention to detail, proofreading and internet research skills with general knowledge of corporate structures.
4. Highly detail-oriented, with data analysis being key.
5. Commitment to adhering to Firm standards and best practices.
6. Availability to work overtime if required.
Education and Experience
1. BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Computer Sciences or related fields with at least one year of InterAction experience, or two years of related CRM experience.
2. Previous law firm experience preferred.
