We are partnered with a niche banking client who focuses on asset finance, development finance, specialist mortgages and wholesale. They are looking for a Business Architect to join a newly formed team.
About the role:
The Senior Business Architect will be responsible for operating model development and identifying business and enterprise-wide impacts of new change supporting other internal colleagues and project sponsors in building a change portfolio that supports an effective transition to target business environment.
The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to thepany’s business leaders to define the strategic business architecture and operating model, will act as a subject matter expert throughout the change lifecycle, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues, and 3rd party suppliers to align strategy, process re-engineering and organisational design to operating models.
Key Areas:
1. Define and establish a 3-5 year vision and roadmap for the organisation’s operating model / Business Architecture.
2. Accountable for developing operating models, assessing change impacts, and supporting the shaping of change ensuring the change portfolio supports the strategy and leads to enduring business capability andpetitive advantage.
3. Collaborating with the transformation team to create and build attractive andpelling investments cases to shape the organisation’s portfolio.
4. Accountable for implementing and enforcing proven design principles to underpin the business architecture.
5. Take a lead role in defining and shaping the business operating environment whilst championing and supporting change.
6. Actively input into theernance of the Bank’s Business Operating Model against the organisation’s Target Vision.
7. Establish, define, and monitor key metrics to track efficiency across the organisation
8. Generate business architecture blueprints to drive investment programmes.
Qualifications/Experience
9. Considerable demonstrated experience in a Business and/or Enterprise Architecture role within the financial services industry with a strong focus on business architecture, capabilities, services, and processes.
10. Exceptional business/enterprise architecture knowledge (TOGAG, Business Architecture Guild, BIAN), change frameworks, methodologies and best practice theories and techniques.
11. Diverse experience of supportingplex organisational change including people, process, and technology development.
12. Considerable experience within the Financial Services and Consulting sectors would be advantageous
13. Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and project sponsors.
14. Demonstrated experience providing senior executive updates to provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis of progress.
15. Strong technical knowledge and delivery of Lean / Six Sigma business re-engineering.
16. Strong demonstrated experiencing using analytical rigor, structure, and effective solutions to poorly defined problems
