Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent assistant administrator within our Audiology service at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to provide support to the Audiology Team ensuring a first-class service is delivered to our patients. The post holder will ensure all administrative processes are followed in providing a streamlined service to our patients, clinical team and external agencies. The successful candidate will be working with and have a supervisory role within the administration team, and supporting Audiologists. The post holder will be responsible for a range of general administrative and clerical functions including appointment scheduling, data input onto spreadsheets and databases and word processing and working in accordance with Trust policies. The post holder will be the first point of contact for clients to the establishment; this will include dealing with routine queries and providing information to patients, relatives and staff either face to face or over the phone. The post holder may be required to provide reception cover in a designated area.
