The Website Manager administers, maintains, troubleshoots and improves the 9 brand websites using the Alliance Franchise Brands proprietary content management system (CMS).
Essential functions
1. Website Activities:
o Analyze website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and customer journey to uncover insights that inform strategy.
o Identify drop-off points in conversion funnels and propose optimizations to increase user engagement and conversion rates.
o Analyze landing pages and CTAs, generating reports on performance and areas for optimization.
o Oversee WordPress Engine (WP Engine) management for website optimization and performance tracking.
o Conduct UTM compliance checks to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of campaign URLs.
2. A/B Testing:
o Lead paid media A/B testing to identify the most effective ad creatives, targeting strategies, and bidding approaches.
o Oversee testing strategies to improve landing pages, CTAs, and other key website components for better performance and conversion.
3. User Behavior Analysis:
o Track and analyze campaign performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
o Provide demographic and behavioral insights to enhance targeting and campaign effectiveness.
o Map user journeys for reporting purposes, visualizing how users engage with marketing touchpoints.
o Analyze traffic sources and channels, offering recommendations for better audience targeting and engagement.
4. Reporting and Analytics Implementation:
o Generate and manage comprehensive performance reports across multiple channels, including paid media, website engagement, conversion funnels, and SEO.
o Design, implement, and maintain marketing dashboards, including Google Looker dashboards, for real-time performance tracking and actionable insights.
o Integrate and optimize analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accurate reporting.
o Ensure proper implementation of conversion tracking and campaign-related analytics to measure success and optimize digital marketing efforts.
o Apply data analytics best practices to enhance decision-making and performance insights across teams.
o Conduct benchmarking activities to evaluate marketing performance against industry standards and competitors.
o Oversee Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation to ensure accurate tracking of user behavior and interactions.
o Develop and maintain an Analytics Implementation Guide and Data Dictionary as the source of truth for all analytics processes.
o Provide scorecard reporting to track alignment with business goals and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives.
o Assist and manage vendor relationships for analytics tools, ensuring accurate data reporting, optimization, and effective use of platforms.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with various teams to implement data-driven decisions and improvements.
o Responsible for duties performed in cross-platform environment with knowledge of how web pages react in various versions of web browsers on desktop and mobile devices.
6. Hybrid work schedule with at least 2 days each week in office
7. Minimal travel to corporate office and Franchise Member events
Competencies
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Required education and experience
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
* 5+ years’ experience in website management and optimization
* Hands-on experience with technical underpinnings of the web (e.g., HTML, CSS, XML, Schema)
* Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Console
* Experience in planning and leading testing strategies and personalization
* Track record of cross-departmental collaboration including IT and other internal teams; also, external agencies and vendors
* Experience working with customers to determine website issues and facilitate remediation
* Working knowledge of SEMRush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms/tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred education and experience
* Experience in B2B industry is preferred
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
* Preferred experience in franchising or multi-brand environment
