We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to support our young people in our Aldershot children's home. Our home management team includes a senior team of 2 former Ofsted inspectors (Responsible Individual and Operations Manager) ensuring a high standard of learning, development and quality of care. Rates/salary Total salary £29,960 - £32,600 (basic (£26k) inclusive of sleeps) Overtime hourly rate of £14.00 Enhanced hourly rate (selective days) of £17.50 £55 per sleep-in (SRSW's complete 6-10 sleeps p/m) Birthday off and paid (value of £200 to £250) Main Duties And Responsibilities Plan, manage, and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at all times Be flexible, consistent, reflective and creative in your engagement with the young people Conducting regularly key working sessions with the young people The requirement to sleep overnight at the home On-call support duties as per shared on-call rota Work flexibly, which includes office hours, early morning and late nights, regular weekend hours & bank holidays Experience And Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification (ESSENTIAL) Minimum of 1 year’s referenceable experience working with children and young people in a residential home (ESSENTIAL) Full Valid UK Driver's License PLEASE NOTE ; This role is unable to offer sponsorship at this time
