Care Manager
Location : St Albans
Pay: up to £40,000 per annum plus benefits
Shifts: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend
Job Type : PermanentA domiciliary care agency located in St Albans, is seeking an enthusiastic registered care manager to oversee its operations .
The Role
You will have excellent domiciliary experience and the leadership skills to deliver the high standard of care demanded by the agency.
Duties
Your key responsibilities will include
The leadership and management of a dedicated team of carers. This includes providing them with guidance and mentorship to ensure that they deliver exceptional and specialised care to patients
The administration of medication
Budget and contract management
Staff appraisals
Attending all staff and agency management meetings and preparing for important compliance audits including CQC visits.Key Experience and Skill Requirements
Hold a level 5 or working towards this qualification
A strong background in Domiciliary care
Comfortable leading and motivating staff
Understand how to create and implement comprehensive care plans
Have a good understanding of assisted living principles
Be a great communicator with experience in liaising with patients and their families and other healthcare professionals.Pay & Benefits
Pay - £38,000 to £40, 000 per year plus pension and annual bonus
