We are seeking to appoint a teacher/course leader of A level Physics to join our successful and innovative School of Science. We are looking for a teacher who takes a student-centred approach, who can deliver engaging lessons, effective challenge and exceptional levels of support to allow our students to achieve their potential. For candidates with the right experience and approach, there is also the opportunity to lead the A level Physics curriculum, working with teams to ensure teaching and learning standards remain consistently high and that timely interventions are in place to support students across A level Physics.
From September 2024, up to £6,000 will be available for teachers as part of the government’s drive to recruit and retain the best staff. Eligible FE teachers can claim a levelling up payment for teaching in a number of subjects and this includes Physics.
