Workstation and Workplace Assessor (DSE Assessor)
Permanent | Full time and part time hours available (3 days per week minimum)
Covering client sites across the Midlands
Salary £36-£40k per annum (dependent on experience)
Our leading client are seeking a Workstation and Workplace Assessor in the Midlands to join their growing company. This will be a hybrid role, with frequent travel to client sites within your local region, delivering both virtual and face-to-face workstation and workplace assessments. You will be expected to travel up to 3 times a week. Travel will be reimbursed at 45p per mile for fuel allowance.
Workstation & Workplace Assessor Main duties and responsibilities:
Developing, managing and delivering WSA & WPA assessments both remotely via video consultation and face-to-face, based at our client sites across the UK.
Providing a report to Management following assessment.
Providing accurate assessment reports with appropriate recommendations, submitted in a timely manner.
Identification of hazards within the workplace and assessing the risk of the identified hazards causing or aggravating an individual’s musculoskeletal ill health.
Providing other team members with information regarding any work practice or working environment changes that are required on a short- or long-term basis.
Collection of statistical information for report generation.Workstation & Workplace Assessor required qualifications and skills:
Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or registered with an Ergonomic professional organisation (e.g. ACPOHE, RCO, CIEHF, HFES, etc), is desirable.
Post-graduate training in Occupational Health / Ergonomics is desirable.
Health related degree or qualifications with WSA/WPA experience.
Minimum 2 years WSA/WPA experience.
Knowledge of MSK conditions / injuries and treatment.
Conducting Ergonomic assessments.
Ideally, minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience.
