The service is made up of 4 teams – family and friends assessment, family and friends supervision and support, mainstream recruitment and assessment and mainstream supervision and support. We have social work vacancies across all 4 teams and we are looking for people who have an interest in and value the excellent work foster carers do and with a knowledge and understanding of fostering services including fostering standards and regulations, family and friends related assessments, care proceedings and fostering panel. Previous experience in a fostering environment is desirable but not essential as your attitude, motivation, and transferable skills is what interests us. Please note that in order to apply for this post you must be qualified and registered as a Social Worker with SWE and have post qualifying experience in safeguarding children.
