We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic IT professional to join our End User Computing Team. We are increasing our resources to support the transition of over 9000 trust devices to Windows 11.
The role will provide proactive management of all aspects of end user computing, including PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, software management, and patching, with a primary focus on the transition to Windows 11.
Excellent communication skills and a customer focus are key attributes that the successful candidate must demonstrate due to the constant interaction and support required in assisting colleagues through this process.

Main duties of the job
The Trust is predominantly Microsoft-based, so the successful candidate will need to have experience operating and managing Microsoft-based software. The successful candidate needs to have good demonstrable and technical skills including but not limited to one or more of the following application management skills:
* End user computing peripherals management
* Mobile Device Management and smartphone management
* Multifunctional devices and software management
* SCCM Software Packages
* Desktop and application patching
* Asset management
* License management
* Patch management
* Creating and managing computer images
* Knowledge and understanding of software licensing
* Microsoft Operating Systems, minimum of Windows 10
* Active Directory
* Anti-virus software configuration and support
* Good, practical understanding of technical change control processes
* VDI Desktop patching and upgrading
Job responsibilities
As one of the EUC officers for the Trust, you will interact face-to-face with our colleagues from all aspects of the Trust. The EUC officers work with different teams, and the ability to collaborate effectively is key to our role. We must be polite and professional at all times when working onsite.
The candidate must be able to travel from one site to another to support the transition to Windows 11, and as a result, hybrid/home working will not be possible for these roles.
Experience working with third parties is important as we have different parties providing various services.

Qualifications
* Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant subject or with equivalent experiential learning in the field of ICT Technical Design and Support
* Achieve End User Computing related certification within an agreed time
* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 Foundation
* Microsoft qualifications such as MD-102 or MS900
Skills
* Highly developed computer literacy and advanced keyboard skills
* Good organisation and planning skills
* Technical skills in one or more of the following areas: application management
* End user computing peripherals management
* Mobile Device Management and smartphone management
* Multifunctional devices and software management
* SCCM/MECM Software Packages
* Desktop and application patching
* Asset management

* Creating and managing computer images

* Recent experience of working to structured change control processes - from raising to implementing
* Work experience in an NHS environment
