We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to lead compliance and quality assurance initiatives. In this role, you’ll ensure regulatory adherence, identify and mitigate risks, oversee auditing processes, and work closely with internal stakeholders to safeguard our business. Your expertise in compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks will be crucial in maintaining operational integrity and driving a culture of compliance.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Anderston House, 389 Argyle St, Glasgow G2 8LR
Work pattern: Hybrid, at least 2 days per week onsite
What You'll Do:
* Continuously assess and improve the compliance framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and evolving regulations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities, clients, and industry bodies, fostering transparent communication and compliance.
* Oversee complaint management processes, ensuring timely responses and accurate record-keeping.
* Conduct research and provide recommendations to business units and senior leadership on regulatory updates through newsletters, memos, and presentations.
* Lead governance, risk, and compliance reporting, chairing monthly compliance risk meetings.
* Promote a culture of integrity by embedding ethical and regulatory awareness into daily operations.
* Design and deliver compliance training programs tailored to different roles, regulatory updates, and risk areas.
* Manage the company’s risk framework, proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
* Oversee the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to call quality standards and continuous improvements based on regulations and client expectations.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent (College Diploma or University Degree preferred).
* Minimum of three years of experience in a compliance role, with prior management experience.
* Previous experience in a Compliance Manager role is highly desirable.
* Prior experience of Consumer Duty and FCA.
* Prior experience of Data Protection and GDPR.
