If you’re patient, knowledgeable, and skilled at engaging young minds, we’d love for you to join our team Position: Secondary-Age Tutor Location: Flexible (in-person or remote options available) About the Role As a Secondary-Age Tutor, you’ll support students from diverse backgrounds, helping them excel in core subjects and prepare for key academic milestones such as GCSEs and A-levels. By creating engaging lesson plans and offering tailored support, you’ll play a vital role in boosting students’ confidence and equipping them for academic success. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver subject-specific lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning needs and goals. Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring continuous academic progress. Use creative and interactive teaching methods to make challenging topics accessible and engaging. Provide regular updates and feedback to parents and schools, celebrating achievements and addressing concerns. What We’re Looking For Experience in secondary education or tutoring, with expertise in your subject area. Strong communication skills, with the ability to break down complex topics for secondary-age pupils. Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive learning environment. A degree in Education or a relevant field (preferred but not required). What We Offer A starting hourly rate of £25 per hour.
