Part Time Finance & HR Manager, £45-50,000 pro rata for 30 hour week, Harrogate
Are you a Finance Manager that also gets involved in the day-to-day HR within your office? Are you ACA/ACCA qualified? Are you looking for a new challenge?
Our client is looking for a Finance and HR Manager who will be solely responsible for efficiently and effectively running back office operations, including ownership of its day-to-day financial resources.
This is an exciting and varied position which will allow the candidate to gain a wide understanding of the business and, in the long term, become an integral part of its operation.
This would suit someone who lives in the local area.
Skills Required:
1. Leadership skills
2. Experience of working within a small team beneficial
3. Highly organised with excellent communication skills
4. Experience in auditing, taxation, cost accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
5. Management Accounts
6. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
7. Experience of general HR within the office
Key Duties:
1. Manage the company’s financial affairs
2. Oversee HR practices, processes and strategies
3. General HR such as managing personnel records and disciplinary matters
4. Implement Training Programs
5. Ensure that all bank accounts are regularly reviewed and reconciled
6. Prepare monthly management reports and P&L projections
7. Management of staff
8. Liaise with Inland Revenue, Customs & Excise and the company’s accountants
9. Calculate and file corporate tax returns
10. Evaluate the company’s financial transactions
11. Responsible for ensuring compliance is up to date
12. Payroll
