Job Description
We are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner who will support the Head of HR in the country/region. This generalist role will focus on organisation design, change and development, and their impact on people, reward and remuneration processes, performance development, resourcing, people capability building, talent development, and employee relations.
Main responsibilities:
Human Resources Operations
* Works with Global HR team on the development and maintenance of appropriate HR strategies in line with Corporate and business requirements
* Ensures that key HR operational processes are delivered successfully to the business (Transactional HR processes/ leading performance development processes/leading annual remuneration exercises)
* Supports Head of HR to review and maintain of policies and procedures ensuring that employment law requirements are complied with and to communicate these effectively to employees and managers across region
* Ensures people data accuracy and integrity for region
* Support Head of HR in ensuring accurate and timely HR reporting for region as agreed with HR leadership
Reward
* Works with Global HR team on Intra-Company transfers and associated documentation
* Works with Head of HR and line managers on the annual compensation process (reviewing market survey data with managers)
* Works with other HR colleagues and Specialists whose services have an impact on the employment relationship e.g. Benefits, International Mobility, liaising with International colleagues
Talent
* Participation in global projects to improve talent acquisition & development
* Co-ordinates of the appraisal and performance management process/induction/interviewing/coaching and mentoring/learning & development within region
* Supports effective talent acquisition within region through collaboration with specialist support
Business Partnering
* Partners with business leadership & plant management in region, on HR issues such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and development
* Supports Head of HR & leadership on OD projects to ensure optimal operating model for divisions in region
* Key coach to local management in region on how to engage employees and address resulting people issues and build people capabilities effectively
* Provides local management with guidance on: Company policy: interpretation and application of employment law (existing and new legislation affecting the business areas), including update briefings
* Counselling local management on employee related issues e.g. performance management, succession planning, flexible working, maternity, absence management compensation and any other matters affecting the employment relationship
* Employee counselling and guidance on employment issues as appropriate
* Provides employees with Company policy advice and information as required
Qualifications, experience and skills:
* Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and trust at all levels of the company
* PC literate with good level of skill in Word, Powerpoint & Excel
* Highly Collaborative skill: able to engage with and deliver through divisions and functions & very comfortable working in matrixed environments
* Minimum 4+ years HR experience in engineering/industrial businesses
* Good experience of employee/industrial relations
* Professional qualification in HR
* Good level of English language
* Good practical knowledge of Employment law for region
* Good knowledge of a broad range of HR areas including resourcing, reward, learning & education
* Capable of challenging in a constructive and positive manner.
* Strong delivery skills.
* Experience of working within global companies & multi-site operations
