We are currently recruiting for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join a highly regarded practice in the Bristol area. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the relocation of a senior vet, and we are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual who is ready to contribute to all aspects of veterinary practice, including senior decision-making. While holding a certificate or having a keen interest in medicine is desirable, it is not essential.

The Role:
* Working Hours: 27-30 hours per week across 3 days, with alternating Fridays off
* Participation in the Saturday rota: 1 in 4 or 5 Saturdays (08:30 – 14:30)
* Salary: Up to £70,000 (pro-rata for 40 hours per week)

Our Team:
You’ll be working alongside a diverse clinical team with experience ranging from 2 to 40 years, including certificate nurses in dentistry and anaesthesia, two Advanced Practitioners, and access to a visiting RCVS specialist diagnostic imager. We also provide in-house referrals in dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and ophthalmology, as well as hosting a visiting orthopaedic surgeon.
Technology & Workflow:
The practice is equipped with the latest technology, and the team uses an innovative Merlin PMS diary system to enhance workflow, ensuring vets have ample time to focus on providing high-quality care. Appointments are a minimum of 20 minutes, with flexibility for extended consultations.

Situated in a scenic area close to Bath, Bristol, and the Cotswolds, the practice offers easy access to both countryside and city amenities. For those who enjoy cycling, there are excellent cycle paths and a Cycle to Work scheme available.
