We have an exciting opportunity for a Sterilisation Technician to join our Harpenden Orthodontics.
Clinical experience would be beneficial, but is not required as full training will be given. Working in a friendly and professional environment, you’ll work collaboratively with the practice team to support the decontamination, sterilisation, packaging and storage of dental instruments for use within the practice.
* 11 hours over 2 days
* Monday 2pm - 5.30pm Friday 8.00 - 4.30pm

Qualifications
Steriliation technicians are required to follow steps of decontaminating instruments used in the dental clinic and maintain all instruments in line with HTM 01-05 regulations/ They are also requird to carry out the tests of all decontamination equipment and record the results as well as maintaining the sterilisation room to standards outlined in HTM 01-05. Decontamination includes cleaning, disinfection, steriliation, transport and storage of instruments.
Additional Information
11 hours per week on a Monday 2pm - 5.30pm & on a Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm
Will be required to be vaccinated against Hepatitis B, if they do not have this vaccination already.
