Salary: Up to £40,000
Hours of work: Full time with on call responsibilities
Are you a dedicated and experienced professional looking to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with complex learning disabilities? We have an exciting opportunity for a Complex Care Manager to oversee supported living settings in Staffordshire.
Role Overview: As a Complex Care Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated staff in providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. Your role will involve managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a person-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Utilise your experience as a strong deputy or established manager to lead and inspire your team. Foster a positive working environment and promote professional development.
Expertise in Complex Learning Disabilities: Your understanding of complex learning disabilities will be crucial in tailoring support plans and ensuring the well-being of service users.
Autism and Positive Behaviour Plans: Apply your knowledge of Autism and behaviour management strategies to create a supportive and nurturing environment.
IT Skills and Record Keeping: Proficiency in IT systems and meticulous record-keeping are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications: Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or an acceptable equivalent), or be committed to achieving this within 18 months of appointment.
Driving Licence and Vehicle: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are necessary for travel between sites.
