AR684 - Technical Service Manager Location: Stroud Salary: £42,000 - £49,000 Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently searching for a Technical Service Manager on behalf of one of our clients. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Service Manager to lead, support, and provide strategic direction to a regional service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team of engineers while ensuring the highest standards in technical service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused approach to drive continuous improvement in service operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of regional engineers, fostering a motivated and high-performing team environment. Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, resourcing requirements, and contractual obligations. Act as the technical lead, providing solutions to complex issues and maintaining quality standards in build, installation, and commissioning processes. Manage service contract processes, ensuring successful delivery and maintaining strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service. Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery processes and implement procedural improvements. Mentor, coach, and train team members to support their professional development and ensure a skilled and capable workforce. Skills and Qualifications: Preferably possess experience in the Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) or air monitoring industries, with a strong understanding of the technical requirements. Basic knowledge of electronics and an appreciation for the technical aspects of air monitoring systems. Proven experience in managing and developing teams, with the ability to lead by example and inspire performance. Strong understanding of service contract management and delivery, with the ability to navigate customer interactions effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Capable of providing innovative technical solutions while upholding quality and operational standards.
