Digital Operations Change Problem Manager

The primary purpose of this role is to work within the Digital Operations team to provide specialist change and problem management support for NCA colleagues.
The Problem and Change Manager will have overall responsibility for the development, implementation and delivery of ITIL Change and Problem processes and is responsible for ensuring their compliance with ISO 20000 2018 Standards.
You will also be involved in project work giving specialist input as well as working as a technical resource. Expected to be able to work on tasks with very limited input from line management.
You will play a pivotal role in managing and resolving major incidents to ensure the continuity of our critical services. This involves leading a cross-functional response team in diagnosing the root cause of incidents, implementing immediate solutions, and coordinating communication among stakeholders to minimize disruption to patient care and safety. You will develop and maintain incident response protocols, conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with IT, EPRRU, clinical, and operational teams to implement long-term corrective actions. Your expertise in incident management will be crucial in sustaining the high level of service our patients expect, while also driving process improvements to reduce the likelihood of future incidents.
Main duties of the job
To coordinate the review and implementation of all changes to live services via a Change Advisory Board (CAB) which you will chair, whilst ensuring proper Risk Assessment, Impact Assessments and Test plans are performed.
To lead the adoption and delivery of the Change and Problem Management processes (based on ITIL Service support principles) through effective coordination of change planning and implementation, problem resolution, liaising & building relationships with senior stakeholders, EPRRU, IT Management, Team Leaders and IT support groups.
You will be aiding strategic planning of the Digital infrastructure within specialized areas to ensure it remains in support and fit for purpose. To manage and deliver projects for both internal infrastructure upgrades and decommissions, as well as new services to end users.
You will be the point of reference for all staff within Digital and Informatics. You will lead and aid the investigation and diagnosis of complex IT issues, providing feedback to managers and third parties where required. Point of technical escalation for Digital staff within the specialism.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Relevant degree level (or equivalent) or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
* Relevant high-level subject matter qualification. Problem and Change Management (e.g. COBIT, CCMP) or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
* Evidence of continued professional development
* ITIL Qualification
* Change Project Management Qualification
Knowledge, Training, Experience
* Able to identify and resolve complex issues, changes and problems across a broad range of IT solutions to an advanced level.
* Experience of leading the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and performing the role of Change Manager.
* Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic plans.
* Significant experience in problem and incident management.
Skills
* Ability to coach and mentor staff to develop their technical skills and experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills able to engage and build effective relationships at all levels in stakeholder organisations.
