What is the job?
Within this guest-facing role, you will be a key player in creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests. You will assist in directing external queries to the appropriate internal department. You will have a strong attention to detail and keep accurate records of the accommodation facilities. You will assist with food service, ensuring you follow the correct food safety measures. You may at times assist other departments to ensure the seamless operations of the hotel.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Pay: Up to £12.27 per hour, dependent on age

About The Role
Front Office
* Welcome guests to the property in a warm and understanding manner.
* Monitor the hotel emails and telephone line, directing enquiries to the appropriate person.
* Accurately maintain rooming lists and maintenance logs.
* Communicate guest requirements to other departments.
* Liaise effectively with the management team to find solutions to complex problems.
* Use the internal property management systems to ensure room logs are kept up to date.
* Comply with GDPR legislation.
Food & Beverage
* Achieve individual and departmental objectives.
* Serve food and beverages to the standards set out by the hotel at all times.
* Follow the food and beverage sequence of service set out by the hotel at all times.
* Comply with the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
* Clear and refresh lobby and restaurant tables (including the refreshment station).
* Responsible for the cleanliness of all equipment used to serve guests.
* Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including attentiveness, anticipation, accuracy, and maintaining high levels of knowledge about the products and services offered by the hotel.
* Participate in any training sessions, briefings, and meetings as and when requested.
