If so, then I have a Quality Inspector role for you My client are one of the leading engineering manufacturers in Lancashire. They have a global client base and are renowned for offering best in class products to a number of industries. They are proud to invest heavily in the best machinery and equipment, including their own foundry, allowing them to maintain the highest quality of products. They are now seeking two Quality Inspectors to join two different teams (Nuclear and Oil & Gas) where you will be required to perform inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components and finished items used in the manufacture of products for highly regulated industries. You will have the primary responsibility to acquire, process and report inspection data to ensure that the highest standards are applied at all times. Role Responsibilities: First off and Patrol Inspection. First article inspection reports. NDT testing. Goods inward inspection. Final view inspection of completed assemblies prior to despatch. To record and maintain inspection and test records. Support the QA team and assist with internal audits. Liaise with Production Managers and Quality on corrective and preventive action. Calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment in line with company procedures Person Requirements: Experience in all inspection functions and activities. Experience in inspection of Milling, Turning and Welding disciplines. Ability to use a wide range of inspection equipment – Micrometres, Vernier’s etc. Experience of using CMM Operations and Faro arm. Ability to read engineering drawings and engineering quality plans. Experience of NDT testing advantageous.
