Dedicated Emergency Out of Hour Small Animal Vet opportunity, Ayres Veterinary Hospital, North Shields. Very recently relocated to a brand new site. Join our new £2m site, a brand new 6,000 square ft purpose built building in Newcastle Quays, North Shields. Our relocation to a brand new site will enable our practice to increase client services and offer fantastic working conditions for our people.
Salary ranging from £45k to £70k per annum, DOE + Qualifications. Relocation Allowance for candidates moving to the area.
About us: As a team, we retain extremely well. We have long standing members of our team from some Vets with 20+ years' service to our support Receptionists with 30+ years' experience! Ayres Veterinary Hospital are always working towards the highest possible standards. We aim to encourage development within our team to ensure all members are highly skilled and knowledgeable in many areas of veterinary care. Our clinical team are skilled in various disciplines and capable of sole charge working. We have a highly skilled Nursing team which includes student Nurses, PCAs and Receptionists, all provide imperative support to the clinical team.
We are part of a larger Group and lucky to have access to an Advanced Clinical Network of AVP Vets who support, not only the service we provide, but the development of our Vets within the Hospital. As a Group, career development is extremely important to us. We will support certificates and career journey goals.
Candidate requirements: You will be a Vet who is confident with working sole charge, with an interest in Emergency Critical Care cases. With a Nurse on site throughout the night and access to our OOH Vet network, there is heaps of support available! Once employed, you will be given the opportunity to join our ECCelerate course. The training programme will ensure vets deliver the best possible outcomes for every emergency case that they see, whether the case presents at 2pm or 2am.
