Experienced Bookkeeper
Location: Bangor, Gwynedd
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)

With our significant growth, we are on the lookout for a talented Bookkeeper to take ownership of our accounting records. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional who can maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full management of bookkeeping across QuickBooks and Sage.
2. Ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.
3. Bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and general ledger maintenance.
4. Processing invoices, payments, and expenses.
5. Handling payroll preparation and submission (via accounting software).
6. Managing accounts payable and receivable.
7. Producing financial reports and assisting with cash flow management.
8. Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and UK accounting standards.
9. Liaising with external accountants and financial advisors.
Essential Requirements
1. Bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in both QuickBooks and Sage – must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge.
3. Experience correcting and resolving historical bookkeeping issues.
4. Strong understanding of VAT, tax codes, and payroll processes.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
8. AAT qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification.
9. Familiarity with stock accounting and financial reporting.
10. Must be able to work from our head office in Bangor, Gwynedd.
Desirable Skills (Not Essential but Preferred)
1. Experience working within an e-commerce or retail environment.
