Parts Advisor

We are looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our busy, Treforest based team. This position will offer the right candidate the chance to work for a multi-franchise dealership; it will also give the successful applicant the chance to develop their own skills in a busy Parts department.
Candidate’s duties will include the following:
2. Manual handling of stock including stock control and daily stock checking
3. Use of specialist computer systems
4. Logistics – including the responsibility of timeliness of parts arrivals and delivery times
5. Interaction with Trade and Retail customers on a daily basis
6. Working closely with the Vehicle Sales/Service departments
7. General housekeeping as required
You will work with both customers and workshop staff over the phone and in the dealership, using computerised stock management systems and parts identification programmes. You will be responsible for invoicing and orders whilst developing an all-round knowledge of motor vehicles.
This position is perfect for someone who is interested in sales and working with computers as a Parts role is heavily focused on generating new business within a dealership. It is important that you remain constantly focused on the brands and their values by exceeding our customer’s expectations and delivering an unparalleled level of service and quality. Previous experience in a similar role is required.
