Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 2, currently £24,879 to £26,961 FTE (actual salary for 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks p.a. is in the range £12,830 to £13,904)

Hours: From 8.00am to 12.30pm. 22.5 hours per week (5 days per week), term time only, plus staff INSET days (39 weeks per year) to include one day in August (A-level or GCSE results day)

At JHGS, we recognise and value the professional expertise that our Support Staff bring to the school. From Student Support, Finance and Administration to Facilities and Data Management, our Support Staff play a crucial role in providing essential services which directly impact the learning environment of our school. The School Receptionist reports to the Executive Assistant to the Headteacher. The role includes ensuring a welcoming and efficient reception for visitors, providing a rapid and efficient response to telephone calls and emails and assisting with administrative tasks as required.
About you
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator approaching a demanding and busy workload with a positive outlook and good attention to detail, maintaining a high level of diplomacy, tact and confidentiality. With strong administrative skills you should have a good standard of numeracy and literacy along with knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office packages.
A minimum of English Language ‘O’ level or GCSE (grade C/5 or above) or equivalent certificate is essential.
