Spring into Action with Our Expanding Glasgow Outreach Team!
We’re growing—and we want you to be part of it! Our Glasgow Outreach Team is expanding to support even more autistic adults across Greater Glasgow, empowering them to live independently and reach their full potential. We currently support across Barrhead & Houston and expect to expand across Renfrewshire.
Our dynamic Outreach service currently supports 10 autistic adults in a range of social, learning, and community-based activities, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences. Each person benefits from a personalised programme of support tailored to their unique needs, providing structure, consistency, and, for some, assistance with personal care and daily living tasks.
At Scottish Autism, we value the incredible work our team does. That’s why we proudly call our support staff Autism Practitioners —specialists dedicated to making a real difference.
As an Autism Practitioner, experience of working within social care is desirable but not essential as we are seeking to appoint people who are willing to learn, develop into the role and who share our organisational values: Collaboration; Compassion; Change Makers; Contribution. We provide outstanding training and are continuously improving to ensure all our Autism Practitioners are supported and have the skills to deliver a quality service.
