Job summary At UHNM, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and proactive Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who would like to work as part of a friendly, welcoming and experienced Hand Service, who provide care to patient's post-surgery and following trauma to their upper limb, with a special interest in hands. The post sits within our UHNM team but predominantly based at County Hospital, delivering outpatient rehabilitative care and involvement in the Hand Fracture clinics. This post provides an excellent opportunity for a therapist to demonstrate and develop their skills in a speciality area; provide clinical and professional leadership, embed evidence based service development and deliver essential assessment and treatment to patients in a progressive University Hospital, having strong links with Keele, Coventry and Derby Universities. Skills and experience in assessment and treatment of hand injuries and conditions including splinting would be required. We are open to those working at band 6 level, who would like an opportunity for career progression and can provide evidence of appropriate development and ambitions, as well as those already working at band 7 level.
