We’re looking for an Estates Surveyor to work with us on lease renewals and rent reviews, minimizing costs and maximizing returns in the property portfolio. A day in the life of an Estates Surveyor will involve: Inspecting and measuring property Reading leases Obtaining comparable evidence Rental valuations Giving strategic Estates advice Negotiation of new lease terms Instructing solicitors Reports for Trustee Approval Notification and updating databases To be a successful Estates Surveyor, you’ll need: Ideally you will have a surveying qualification, but it’s not essential. We would love to hear from you if you have relevant, demonstrable experience. You should have a good grasp of Landlord and Tenant Law. Confidence for negotiating with various external parties, from landlords to solicitors, will be crucial. Managing work across multiple sites effectively is a must. Experience in estate management, including hands-on property and lease negotiations, is essential. Being a team player who is solution-oriented, communicates well, and influences effectively is key.
