We have an exciting opening within the Community, Corporate, and Events Fundraising team at Tyneside and Northumberland Mind as a Fundraising Assistant. Join our dynamic team, responsible for enhancing supporter experiences by organising fundraising events, supporting corporate and community efforts, and promoting mental health awareness. As our newest recruit you will play a crucial role in delivering these activities, creating positive experiences for supporters, and fostering strong relationships.
What you need to know:
Location: Hybrid – Newcastle Office & Homeworking, with travel across the region
Salary: £25,000 (FTE)
Hours: 15 hours per week (including some evenings & weekends)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Wednesday 5th March, 9 AM
What to expect in this role:
1. Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, campaigns, and sponsorships.
2. Build strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and corporate partners.
3. Assist in developing new fundraising initiatives and re-engaging past supporters.
4. Help with marketing, outreach, and digital fundraising efforts to raise awareness.
5. Track fundraising activities, manage budgets, and produce impact reports.
What we're looking for in a candidate:
1. Experience in fundraising, event planning, or volunteer coordination.
2. Excellent communication skills—confident in engaging supporters, businesses, and communities.
3. Strong organisational and project management abilities.
4. Passion for mental health advocacy and a values-driven approach.
5. Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Full UK Driving Licence and access to transport.
