Job Description
Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Handsworth
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Full-time
They are looking for an experienced SEND teacher who is able to work with pupils with complex needs who are working at the mental ages from birth to age 5; personal care will be required in this role.
This is a full-time role, with full responsibility including planning. The school is looking for a bubbly, child-centred individual who is always willing to go the extra mile for all children in their care, striving to provide high-quality learning that enables each child to realize their full potential to meet targets.
The successful candidate will start after Easter until the end of the summer term, with a potential to roll over into the next academic year. The school is willing to accept applications from ECTs.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Primary Schools, preferably in Key Stage 2.
* Preferred experience working within a SEN school or a resource HUB.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
* Passion for teaching, with a commitment to the welfare and development of children.
* A positive, enthusiastic approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
