Our well-established Primary School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and experienced Primary Travelling Teacher to start in August 2025.
Applicants for the post will have up-to-date knowledge and be experienced primary practitioners. The successful applicant will work across the Falkland Islands in several remote teaching and learning settings. The successful candidate appointed to Travelling Teacher position will travel to different rural locations, live with families and teach pupils in their homes. Travelling teachers are supported by a team but must be able to work effectively and autonomously. Applicants will have very good interpersonal skills that will enable them to integrate effectively with the families and pupils they will live and work alongside.
Applicants for the posts should have experience across the primary range, and particularly within Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.

We are seeking to recruit a Primary Travelling Teacher who:
•is focused on helping children achieve high levels of progress in a happy and effective learning environment
•is a graduate with qualified teacher status (appropriate age range) who has completed their ECF induction and preferably has at least 1 years' successful teaching experience post ECF
•is experienced across the primary age range, particularly EYFS and KS1
•can demonstrate a thorough recent knowledge of the 2014 English National Curriculum and the EYFS Statutory Framework
•is committed to differentiation and SEND inclusive practice
•can effectively monitor, assess, record and report on pupils’ progress
•can work within and contribute to coaching and mentoring environment
•has good interpersonal skills, is self-motivated and capable of working effectively and autonomously
•possesses secure IT skills
•is able to contribute to the development of extra curriculum opportunities
•has a sense of adventure
We will provide:

•salary up to £45,244 for teachers with 5+ years experience
