Are you a Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Payable professional looking for a new challenge? We are delighted to work with a global business who has an amazing opportunity within their finance team.
The ideal candidate will currently work within a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable role as you will be expected to hit the ground running.
The role
* Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
* Dealing with high volumes of transactions for the general ledger
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues or queries.
* Raising credit notes when necessary
* Preparing statements reconciliation
* Handle supplier queries by email and taking inbound calls.
* Using SAP daily including bespoke system
The candidate
* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* Experience in SAP or Salesforce preferred.
* Must be comfortable working to deadlines.
* Must be able to work from home as well as office.
