We are looking for a highly motivated team player to work in Finance Services team as a Payroll Officer (3 days) and a transactional assistant (2 days). The role will involve dealing with the delegated payroll provider and the Human Resources Team to ensure employees, and Members are paid accurately and on time, including expenses each month, resolving payroll related queries in a timely manner as well as working in all aspects of transaction processing and administration of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. We require someone with previous experience in a similar role with good attention to detail, as they will be responsible for processing the monthly payroll and good knowledge of understanding of basic double entry, with excellent customer service skills. Your analytical and prioritisation skills will be second to none and your effective communication and negotiation skills will help you to build effective working relationships. Experience of using a market leading Payroll and HR ICT system and the ability to use Microsoft Office to intermediate level are also essential.
