The firm operates from its two offices in Plymouth and Bath.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated Contentious Trusts and Probate lawyer.
You will work within the Dispute Resolution team and will conduct litigation including contentious probate matters. You will also be required to help grow the volume of contentious trust and probate work handled by the firm.
Essential knowledge & experience required:
* At least 3 years PQE in litigation.
* Current caseload to include contentious trusts and probate litigation.
* Proven (measurable) success in winning new client business through referrals and business development activities.
* Driven and with high integrity and high energy.
* A team player.
* Willing to work under supervision and receptive to constructive criticism.
* Sets quality as a prime objective in everything s/he does.
* Fully conversant with Word, Outlook and Excel and used to working with computerized case management systems.
* An excellent communicator both written and public speaking.
* Willing to have contact with colleagues and clients outside of normal business hours where necessary.
* Appear on applications in the County Court, Court of Protection and the High Court.
* Able to work with clients who are elderly, infirm or have a disability.
This is a full-time position, remuneration is dependent on qualifications/experience.
