Edgewood School will be the newest and latest edition to the SENAD Group portfolio. Our site in Lingswood Park, Northampton is a vibrant, ambitious and caring independent day and residential school for young people aged 7 up to 16 years old with a range of complexity and need, including Autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will support the young people to find a way of life that suits them as individuals, enabling them to access the community, get the most from their school day and achieve their personal goals.
You will ensure safeguarding is a priority at all times, support with personal care, and have the young people’s best interests at the heart of everything you do.
We are seeking a team of trustworthy, interactive, and fun Support Workers. While full training is provided, previous relevant experience will be beneficial.
Applicants must have a natural respect for the individuality and dignity of those in our care.
Edgewood School and The SENAD Group conduct wide-ranging recruitment checks to ensure we safeguard those in our care, including a criminal background check if an offer is made. In addition, we will conduct online searches and reference checks at an early stage in the recruitment and selection process.
If you would like more information on the checks, please contact our Recruitment Team on 01885 488 096.
The SENAD Group is dedicated to equality of opportunity in all areas of work, education, and care.
