The new pipes we're installing will last up to 100 years. We are looking for a Network Construction Operative to work as part of a team to successfully deliver Mains Renewal construction activity for a specific site. Key Responsibilities Identify and mitigate against potential hazards and document findings in a daily dynamic risk assessment. Undertake the safe location and avoidance of underground utilities. Safe and timely removal and disposal of asbestos. Liaise with customers providing support as required, maintaining customers' supply with sufficient riders/overlanders as per the design. Implement trenchless solutions where possible to mitigate cost and disruption to the infrastructure. Standby is required. What You’ll Bring to the Role The right candidate will have a strong focus on safety, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring safe excavation practices. Compliance with regulations and maintaining safety standards on-site are key responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Candidates should be able to liaise with customers and work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.
