Job Title: Workshop Engineer

Job Type: Full-time (starting temp with potential view to go permanent)
Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building fuel polishing systems and wiring electrical panels of varying design requirements on time to the highest quality standard.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Engineering team to develop and sign off engineering designs and drawings before they are passed to manufacturing to ensure flawless manufacture.
2. Fit and wire panels.
3. Program and operate push button type panels.
4. Traditional Mechanical Panel Design & Build.
5. Work to deadlines to ensure dispatch dates are met.
6. Assist in the development of a range of standard and bespoke hydraulic, pneumatic compressed gas starting systems and fuel polishing systems.
7. Pack/Crate completed fuel polishing project systems.
8. Work with sub-suppliers where necessary to ensure quality of outsourced items.
Key Requirements:
1. Experienced in hydraulics/pneumatics/pipefitting systems/panel wiring.
2. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and project timing plans.
3. Six Sigma/lean manufacturing knowledge would be an advantage.
4. Experience with 2D CAD software, such as DraftSight, AutoCAD, etc.
5. Electrical background.
6. Engineering background.
