WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR is undergoing a fundamental transformation, redefining modern luxury through innovation and sustainability. As part of this journey, Corporate Affairs and Motorsport plays a critical role in shaping and protecting the company’s global reputation. This department leads the communication strategy for JLR, delivering high-quality, integrated, and impactful storytelling to engage internal and external stakeholders.
This role, reporting to the Head of Communications and PR, is essential to Jaguar TCS Racing’s success. You will drive a global earned-first communications strategy, ensuring the team’s achievements, technology, and sustainability efforts reach the right audiences. Working closely with the Jaguar Brand, Global Communications, and Partnerships teams, you will also manage external agencies and lead a small team to deliver impactful communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Lead the Global Communications Strategy – Develop and execute a high-impact earned-first PR strategy to elevate Jaguar TCS Racing’s presence across motorsport, automotive, and lifestyle media.
* Drive Brand & Corporate Storytelling – Craft compelling narratives around sustainability, technology transfer, and team purpose, ensuring alignment with JLR’s modern luxury vision.
* Maximise Commercial Partnerships – Support partner communications strategies, enhancing brand value and audience engagement through collaborative storytelling.
* Engage Stakeholders & Amplify Reach – Build a network of internal and external advocates, working across JLR’s global communications, brand, and leadership teams.
* Oversee Budget & Crisis Communications – Manage budgets efficiently, ensure all content aligns with JLR’s modern luxury principles, and lead crisis communications when required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Extensive PR and communications experience, ideally in motorsport, automotive, or a related industry.
* A strong track record in global media relations, storytelling, and strategic campaign execution.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across leadership teams, commercial partners, and agencies.
* A passion for innovation, electrification, and sustainability in motorsport.
* Willingness to travel internationally as part of a fast-paced, high-performance team.
