Site Supervisor
Based: Yeovil office working around various sites within Poole, Dorset and Wiltshire locations and typically Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

With responsibility for the supervision of Trade site colleagues, including subcontractors, the role will ensure all site personnel carry out their designated tasks efficiently and effectively to enable the contract to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget, and with no risk to the Health & Safety of their operational team, the Client, or the general public.
The successful Site Supervisor will have strong experience in working in a tenanted environment within the Social Housing sector, ideally working on responsive repairs and Voidworks.

An outline of your responsibility as a Site Supervisor
* Ensure the supervised site activities comply with H&S regulations, legislation, and all staff follow Novus H&S policies and procedures through effective training, risk assessments, and audits.
* Monitor and identify H&S issues, resolve issues within the supervised team, and escalate if applicable.
* Ensure quality delivery of works through daily/weekly auditing and supervision.
* Provide regular and timely feedback on the progress of works against targets to relevant operational, helpdesk, and commercial teams.
* Take accountability and oversee correct installations of various works.
* Monitor day-to-day customer relations.
* Provide information on site activities to support Contracts Manager in progress meetings with clients and customers.
* Assist Contracts Manager in managing staff in line with policies and procedures, such as recruitment, training, capability, disciplinary, talent development, and succession; escalate issues accordingly and contribute to performance reviews.
About You
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
* HSE Three Day First Aid desirable
* Essential to have experience of Social Housing tenanted works
* Must be an enthusiastic self-starter with confident communication skills
* People supervision and first-line management experience desirable
* Good working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures.
* Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office
* Must be flexible in hours of work and hold a Full UK Driving Licence
* This role will require a DBS check.
