In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of BMS control systems across sites predominantly in London. Reporting to the Maintenance General Manager, you will perform planned preventative maintenance, attend emergency callouts, and provide critical support as part of the internal on call rota. Maintenance Controls Engineer Responsibilities Manage day-to-day preventative maintenance and ensure the smooth operation of BMS control systems. Validate and update the asset register, perform risk assessments, and keep records of all work, including backup strategies. Respond to alarms, attend emergency callouts, and carry out remedial tasks as required. Maintain control strategy backups and ensure software licenses, security, and updates are current. Provide detailed maintenance reports, including before-and-after documentation and identify opportunities for system improvements and energy efficiency. Maintenance Controls Engineer Skills & Experience Required Solid experience in BMS maintenance, with methodical problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform PPM, emergency callouts, and minor repairs. Clear and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and team members at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying initiative and responsibility. Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CSCS, CITB, ECS accreditations. DBS and security clearance are essential for this role. Interested?
